Welcome!

  • How might I start using MyNewLand?
    1. Use the "Automated Translator", if appropriate.
    2. In the "Language Sections", choose a familiar language.
  • I have not found the information that I need. What should I do next?
    1. Use the "Automated Translator", if appropriate.
    2. In the "Language Sections", choose "English".
  • The information is not displayed properly. Many "?" symbols appear.
    • If you are using the "Automated Translator", try using the "View page in its original Language" link.
    • Make sure that you have installed and are using the appropriate language / encoding in the user agent or browser software.

      For example, for some browser software (for example, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5):

      1. Click on "View".
      2. Click on "Encoding".
      3. Choose a language / encoding that is appropriate for the page which you are viewing.
  • The information is not displayed. My computer could not open the file, even after I downloaded and saved the file.
  • How do I find local information for my area?
    1. Use the "Automated Translator", if appropriate.
    2. In the "Language Sections", choose "English".
    3. Use the "Municipalities" link for your area.
    4. Use the link for your municipality, if that link exists.
      • Use the "Library" or "Libraries" link(s), if available.
  • What is MyNewLand?

  • Where can I get MyNewLand cards to give to others?
    1. Download a sheet of MyNewLand cards. (Find out how to display a PDF file).
    2. From that downloaded file, print as many copies as appropriate.
    3. In each of those copies, separate the cards from each other.
  • Where can I get a MyNewLand poster?
