.pdf files - Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files
Suppose you are unable to view a file properly. You discover the type of the file is
.pdf or "Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF)".
How do you display a .pdf file properly?

- If appropriate, download "Adobe Acrobat Reader"
software for free.
- Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
- Use the Adobe Acrobat Reader software to open and to display .pdf files.

If (for example)
- you are not able, allowed, or willing to use Method 1, and
- you can access the World Wide Web, and
- the .pdf file is on the Internet or the World Wide Web,
then you might prefer to use Method 2 to try to convert the .pdf file and to view the results:
- Copy the Internet address (or "URL") of the .pdf file into the URL text-box at the "Adobe PDF
Conversion by Simple Form" World Wide Web page in English or French / français.
- Use the "Get this Adobe PDF Document as HTML" button.

If (for example)
- you are not able, allowed, or willing to use Method 1, and
- your access to the World Wide Web is quite limited or expensive, and
- you can access e-mail,
then you might prefer to use Method 3 to try to convert the .pdf file and to view the results:
- Use the "Adobe e-mail submission tool" in English or French / français.
- Access your e-mail.
- View the results that you have received by e-mail.
